What happens to an applicant record
Your verified account is linked to one applicant profile. Applications, corrections, comments, supporting documents and decisions remain on the same reference so the process is traceable. Only authorised roles should see the information required for their work.
Credit and eligibility decisions
Project Grow may assess operational and project eligibility. A participating financial institution may separately carry out identity, credit, affordability, anti-fraud and regulatory checks and is responsible for its own lending decision. Project Grow account registration or application submission does not guarantee approval, financing, a credit guarantee or disbursement.
Required and optional information
Fields marked required are needed to create the account, assess an application or meet an applicable duty. If required information is not provided, the service or assessment may not proceed. Optional information is clearly identified and should not be used to penalise an applicant who chooses not to provide it.
Farmer lists and information about other people
Aggregators must tell farmers why their information is being collected, identify Project Grow and relevant partners, use approved templates and upload only necessary records. An uploader confirms that the information is accurate, lawfully obtained and submitted with appropriate authority or consent.
Credit decision-support scoring
The portal calculates a preliminary, transparent decision-support score from information supplied in eight areas: identity and eligibility; business and management; financial performance and cash flow; production capacity; market and off-take; existing debts; insurance and operational risks; and security, guarantees and applicant contribution. For credit requests involving land or premises, the Agribusiness Officer also records a separate Land Readiness Clearance covering tenure, community interests, compensation, safeguards, grievances and site suitability. A numerical score cannot replace that clearance. The score shows whether evidence is declared, document-supported or independently verified. It does not automatically approve or reject an application. Authorised officers must verify material information, apply the approved credit policy and record reasons for every recommendation and final decision. Applicants may request correction of inaccurate source information and may use the grievance process to raise a concern.
